Short answer: To split a PDF on a phone, open arcanizepdf.com/tools/split in your browser, select the PDF, type the pages you want to keep, such as 1-3, 5, and tap Extract Pages. You get a new PDF with only those pages. The file is processed on your device and is not uploaded.

This works in Chrome, Safari and other mobile browsers, and on a computer.

  1. Open arcanizepdf.com/tools/split.

  3. Type the pages you want to keep. Use commas between pages and a hyphen for a range, for example 1-3, 5.

Your original file is not changed. There is no sign-up and no watermark.

What to type for common jobs

Remove the last page1-9

How to remove pages from a PDF

There is no separate delete button. You remove a page by listing every page except that one.

  1. Note the number of the page you want to remove and the total number of pages.
  2. Type the range before it and the range after it. To remove page 4 of 10, type 1-3, 5-10.
  3. Tap Extract Pages and download the result.

Page numbers refer to the position in the file, starting at 1. They can differ from the numbers printed on the pages if the document has a cover or a contents page.

How to split one PDF into two files

Run the tool twice, once for each part.

  1. Select the PDF, type the first part, for example 1-5, and download it.
  2. Change the pages to the second part, for example 6-10, tap Extract Pages again and download that file.

  • The new file is still too large. Run it through Compress PDF.
