How to split a PDF and keep only the pages you need
Sometimes you only need a few pages: one month from a yearly statement, a single certificate from a bundle, or the signed page of a contract.
Type the page numbers you want and Arcanize builds a new PDF containing just those pages, on your own device.
Pick any pages: Use single pages and ranges together, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10.
Original stays untouched: A new PDF is created. Your original file is not changed.
Private: Pages are extracted in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Extract pages from a PDF in 4 steps
- Click Select File and choose your PDF, or drop it onto the page.
- Type the pages you want to keep, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10.
- Click Extract Pages.
- Click Download File to save the new PDF.
Good to know
- One PDF at a time, producing one new PDF that contains the pages you listed.
- Pages are added in the order you type them, so 5, 1-2 puts page 5 first.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Page numbers refer to the position in the file, starting at 1, not to numbers printed on the pages.

How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?
Select the PDF, type the pages you want separated by commas, such as 2, 4-6, and click Extract Pages. The download contains only those pages.
Can I remove pages from a PDF with this tool?
Yes, by listing the pages you want to keep. To remove page 3 from a 5-page file, enter 1-2, 4-5.
Does splitting change the quality of the pages?
No. Pages are copied into the new file exactly as they are.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The pages are extracted by your browser on your own device.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Unlock it first with the Unlock PDF tool, using its password, then split the unlocked copy.
